Barry H. Keeling of La Jolla, CA, formerly of Rushville died on January 21, 2025 in La Jolla Ca. Barry was born on December 18, 1939 the son of Louis H. and Ruth Dodd Keeling. He was a 1957 graduate of Rushville High School and Western Illinois University. In 1963, he joined the USAF through the Illinois Air National Guard Program and completed fighter pilot training at Moody Air Force Base in Georgia, he then went to USAF Fighters Weapons school in Nevada. He was fighter pilot for 10 years with the Illinois Air National Guard retiring in the USAF Reserve in 1975. In 1975, he Join TWA and flew as Captain based in many domestic and international locations. He has served with distinction until he reached mandatory retirement age. In 1976, he served as consultant/instructor for TWA flight school in Saudi Arabia for young Saudi Pilots for two year. He was physically active, especially walking and playing the golf courses.
