William Dale Root, 72, of Rushville, IL, passed away at 1:14 p.m. on Wednesday, January 1, 2025 at Blessing Hospital in Quincy, IL. He was born on December 16, 1952 in Beardstown, IL a son of the late John Wilbur & Sarah Elizabeth Robeson Root. He attended Rushville High School. Dale married Mary Ellen Lashbrook on December 1, 1997 in Rushville, IL.
