Joseph Michael Sipes, 54, of Rushville, IL passed away at 6:37 a.m. Saturday, December 21, 2024 at Broward Health Medical Center in Ft. Lauderdale, FL. He was born on May 18, 1970 at Rushville, IL. He was the son of Gerald Marly & Ruth Goldsmith Sipes. He is survived by his father & step-mother, Marly & Donna Sipes of Rushville, IL, (2) brothers; Greg Sipes & Christy of Rushville, IL, Chad Gilham of Rushville, IL, (1) sister; Holly Woodruff & Kenny of Quincy, IL, several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews & cousins. He was preceded in death by his mother, (1) sister; Wendy Sue Sipes. He received his Bachelor's Degree from Southern Illinois University. He worked over forty years for his father at GM Sipes Construction and later owned & operated this business until his retirement.
