Jon Maurice "Jake" Loring, 71, of Rushville, IL passed away at 7:35 p.m. Tuesday, December 17, 2024 at his home. He was born on April 15, 1953 in Rushville, IL a son of Maurice & Doris Corbridge Loring. He is survived by his mother of Rushville, IL, (1) brother, James Loring & wife Carol of Mundelein, IL, (1) sister, Julie McQuality & husband Mark of Springfield, IL. He was preceded in death by his father. He was a graduate of Rushville High School with the class of 1971 and got a Bachelor's Degree from Eastern IL University. He worked as a claims adjuster for Mutual of Omaha Insurance and later Terry's Jaguars in Benton, IL. After retirement he was owner & manager of Crockaholics in Rushville, IL. He was a member of Rushville Masonic Lodge #9 AF & AM and was administrator of Mid Western Stoneware Group. He enjoyed collecting crocks. Cremation has been accorded.
