James Dale “Jim” Greene, 87, of Rushville, passed away peacefully at 2:20 am on Friday, November 22, 2024, at the Rushville Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Rushville.He was born on February 26, 1937, in Schuyler County, the son of the late Ralph & Lola (Estes) Greene. Jim graduated from Rushville High School with the class of 1955. After graduation, he served in the United States Army, completing basic training at Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri and later stationed in Mineral Wells, Texas & San Antonio, Texas. He married Nancy Rinehart on December 15, 1963, at the First Christian Church of Rushville (Disciples of Christ) and she preceded him in death on December 26, 2016.Jim worked for Schuyler-Brown FS as a salesman and later as the plant manager of the Camden FS facility, retiring in 1999. Jim was a 50-year member of the Camden Masonic Lodge AF&AM #648 and served many years on the Schuyler County Fair Board as the Swine Superintendent. Jim was a Buena Vista
