Donna Jean Vancil, 85 of Rushville, IL passed away at 9:10 a.m. Tuesday August 13, 2024 at Blessing Hospital in Quincy, IL. She was born October 8, 1938 the daughter of the late Ralph and Marion Cooper Thompson. Donna is survived by (1) daughter Amanda Vancil, (6) grandchildren and several great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by a daughter Becky Gossage; (1) son Robert Vancil and (1) brother Ralph Thompson Jr. She graduated from Rushville High School in 1956. She worked for Bohn Aluminum in Beardstown, IL and retired from Morton Metal Craft in Morton, IL. Donna greatest joy was spending time with her grandchildren. Graveside services will be Tuesday, August 20, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. at Rushville City Cemetery with Brother Matt Haberman officiating. Memorials may be given to the Schuyler County Humane Society.
