Charles Berry Jr., 92 of Rushville, IL passed away at 6:07 p.m. Friday, May 31, 2024 at Rushville Nursing and Rehab Center. He was born August 16, 1931 in Bayonne, NJ the son of the late Charles and Ivy Milne Berry. He married Beverly J. Belanger on September 18, 1954 in Middletown, NY. He is survived by a son; David Berry & Joanne of Glen Carbon, IL, a daughter; Kim Root & Rocky of Quincy, IL, (5) grandchildren; Deon Root & wife Vicky, Courtney Ahlers & husband Jeff, Jessica Root & significant other Josh Eaton, Rocky Dustin Root & wife Caitie, Barbara Filipiak & husband Ken, (18) great grandchildren, (6) great-great grandchildren. He graduated from St. Lawrence University. He was a former member of the Junior League of Middleton, NY. In 1964 Charlie moved to Rushville to be the administer at the Sarah D. Culbertson Memorial Hospital for 29 years retiring in 1993. There will be no services. Memorials may be given to Culbert
