William Devere Etter "Bill", 93 of Rushville, IL passed away at 2:39 p.m. Wednesday , May 29, 2024 at Rushville Nursing & Rehab Center. He was born June 1, 1930 in Browning, IL, the son of the late Harold Michael & Viva Wilson Etter. He married Betty Billingsley on February 5, 1955 at the 1st Christian Church in Rushville. She survives along with (3) daughters: Dianna Eifert of Rushville, Debra Phillips & Danny of Rushville, Cindy McClelland & Max of Rushville; (8) grandchildren: Corrie Eifert, Amy Kerr, Derek Eifert, Benjamin Phillips, Christopher Phillips, Mike McClelland, Ashley Behymer, Andy McClelland; (19) great grandchildren; and numerous nieces & nephews his dog and best friend Jenny. He is preceded in death by (1) brother: Richard Etter; (2) sisters: Patricia Leverton, Peggy Settles, (1) son-in-law Tom Eifert; (1) nephew Scott Leverton. Staff Sergeant William D.
