Archie Leroy Yates Jr., 73, passed away at 4:45 p.m. Friday, May 10, 2024 at Beardstown Health & Rehab Center. He was born on July 10, 1950 in Rushville, IL a son of the late Archie Sr., and Zelda Reeder Yates. He married Georgina Claassen, Betty Moore and Doris Breeden Burnett. They all preceded him in death. He is survived by his daughter; Holly Acheson & Alan of Rushville, IL, step-daughter; Rosa Wilson, granddaughters; Keely Keitzer & Keaton & Katie Acheson, a sister; Nancy Guilliams of Effingham, a sister-in-law; Meta Yates of Vine Grove, KY, nephews; Andy Yates, Jacky Yates, Raymond Yates, a niece; Cristy Irwin & Kenny of Edmond, OK, great-nephews, Levi Yates and eleven cousins. He was preceded in death by a brother; Albert "Robert" Yates, a brother-in-law, seven aunts & uncles and three cousins.
