Terry J. Stiles, 82, of Rushville, IL, passed away at 5:30 a.m. on May 8, 2024 at his home. He was born on March 6, 1942 in Virginia, IL a son of the late Donald & Dorothy Bateman Stiles. He married Roberta Gorsuch on August 21, 1976 at the Beardstown Methodist Church. She survives along with (1) son; Tony Royer of Rushville, IL, (1) grandson; Matthew Royer of Bluffs, IL, (1) sister; Donna Fretueg of Rushville, IL, (2) nieces; Dana Renee, Dawn Michelle, (1) nephew; David Troy. He was preceded in death by (1) grandson; Ben Royer, (1) brother; Richard Stiles. He was an Army Veteran serving in Vietnam receiving The Purple Heart for wounds in combat. Terry was employed by Oscar Meyer before becoming a meat inspector for the federal government. As a meat inspector he worked at Excel & Cargill before retiring. He enjoyed making knives, hunting, fishing and just being outdoors. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm Monday, May 13, 2024 at Worthington Funeral Home
