Michael LaVerne DeMoss, 66, of Rushville, IL passed away at 7:24 a.m. Thursday, April 25, 2024 at his home. He was born on July 23, 1957 in Macomb, IL. He was the son of Ronald E. "Lefty" & Linda Powell DeMoss. He is survived by his mother, Linda Brown of Rushville, IL, (1) son; Keith DeMoss (Michel) of Rushville, IL, (1) grandson: Keaton DeMoss, (1) granddaughter; Kynzie DeMoss, (2) sisters; Mindy Newell (Brian) of Rushville, IL, Kristi Laning (Eric) of Mt. Sterling, IL. (4) nieces, Jennifer Robinson, Gail DeMoss, Lacey Riggs, Hallie Laning, (2) nephews; Beau Newell and Jake Laning, several aunts, uncles, cousins and a special friend, Verna Smith. He was preceded in death by his father, (1) son; Troy Jay "T.J." DeMoss, (1) brother; Mitchell "Mitch" DeMoss, (1) nephew; Nathan Cooper, Step-father; Bob Brown.
